When live training is the right choice
Self-paced courses are efficient for individual learning. Some topics, though, are best explored together: how a team responds when a colleague's behaviour worries them, how a practice handles an angry patient at the front desk, where the line sits between friendliness and a boundary issue, or what everyone should do in the first hours after an adverse event.
Live training brings a group into the same conversation, online or in a room, with scenarios drawn from their own type of practice. It suits teams that want to build shared expectations, services responding to a pattern of complaints or incidents, and organisations that want to support the reflective, interactive learning many Boards expect practitioners to include in their CPD.
Every session is built from the same researched material as our courses, which is anchored in the shared Code of conduct, each Board's standards and the National Law. Sessions are educational. They do not provide legal advice and they are not accredited and not approved by Ahpra or any National Board.

How booking works
Send an enquiry
Tell us about your team, the professions involved, the number of participants, your preferred format and what has prompted the request.
Scoping conversation
We talk through your goals, the situations your team meets and any sensitivities, such as a recent incident or an open complaint, so the session is pitched correctly.
Proposal and quote
We send an outline of content, format and length, with a quote for your group. Pricing depends on format, group size, preparation and travel, so every session is quoted individually.
Confirm dates
Once you accept the proposal, we agree a date that suits your rosters. We do not publish fixed dates; every session is arranged with the organisation.
Delivery
The session runs with scenario discussion and practical tools participants can use the next day.
Follow-up
Participants receive a record of attendance showing the session length, and you can add self-paced courses through team licences for anyone who wants to go further.
Live training and CPD
Several National Boards expect part of a practitioner's CPD to involve learning with other practitioners. For example, the Paramedicine Board's standard includes interactive hours, the Psychology Board's standard includes peer consultation, and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practice Board, the Occupational Therapy Board and the Chinese Medicine Board also include interactive learning in their requirements. A facilitated group session with discussion may help practitioners meet those expectations.
Whether a particular session counts towards a particular requirement is for each practitioner to decide against their own Board's standard. We provide a record of attendance with the actual session length. Practitioners record the time they attended and write their own reflection on what they will change.
Sessions after a difficult event
Some organisations ask for training after a serious complaint, an adverse event or a notification involving a team member. We can help, but we will take care with timing and content. A session should not become an informal inquiry, should not discuss an open matter in a way that identifies anyone, and should never put pressure on staff who may be witnesses. In those situations we focus on general principles and forward-looking practice, and we recommend that the organisation and any individuals involved get their own advice.
Frequently asked questions
How much does live training cost?
Every session is quoted per group, because cost depends on the format, the number of participants, how much tailoring is needed and whether travel is involved. Send an enquiry and we will provide a quote.
Do you publish session dates?
No. Live training is arranged with each organisation, so dates are agreed once a proposal has been accepted.
Can you deliver training at our premises?
Yes, on-site workshops are available. We can also deliver live online sessions for teams across several locations.
Will participants receive anything for their CPD records?
Each participant receives a record of attendance showing the session length. They record the time they attended and decide how it fits their own CPD plan and Board standard.
Can sessions mix professions?
Yes. Mixed groups work well for topics such as communication, records, workplace conduct and open disclosure, because the shared Code of conduct applies across most professions.
Can you address a specific incident in our service?
We can design a session around the themes an incident raised, but we will not investigate or discuss an open matter. Your organisation and any staff involved should get their own advice about the incident itself.
Does the training carry regulator recognition?
No. Sessions are independent education and are not accredited and not approved by Ahpra or any National Board.
