Find courses that fit

The three questions

  1. Your profession

Choose from the fifteen registered professions. This brings in the course written for your Board's code and standards, where one exists.

  2. Your situation

Planning routine CPD, responding to a complaint or notification, complying with conditions or an undertaking, preparing for a hearing, or supporting a team.

  3. Your concern or topic

For example communication and consent, records, boundaries, prescribing, honesty and billing, advertising, privacy, workplace conduct, cultural safety, or health and impairment.

What the suggestions are based on

The finder matches your answers against the subject of each course and program in our catalogue. A typical result includes a profession course, one or more topic courses that match your concern, and, if you are responding to a concern, courses on insight, reflection and remediation. Where several of the suggested courses sit in one of our programs, the finder shows the program as well, because buying a program costs less than buying its courses separately.

The suggestions are a starting point. They do not assess your matter, and they cannot tell you what a Board, an employer or an adviser expects of you. If you have a notification or conditions, discuss your education with your indemnity insurer, defence organisation or lawyer, and check whether any education must be nominated and accepted before you start.

If you would rather browse

You can also explore by profession, by type of concern or by program. If you are dealing with a notification right now, start with our notification guide, which explains the first steps and where education fits. If you are unsure where to begin, the free 15-minute course on Ahpra notifications gives a quick overview of the process.

Courses the finder suggests most often

These shared courses apply across professions and appear in many results.

Programs the finder may suggest

When several suggested courses sit together, a program can be the better option.

Frequently asked questions

Does the course finder store my answers?

No. It runs in your browser and does not ask for your name, email or any details of your matter.

Will the suggested courses satisfy a Board condition?

We cannot say. Some conditions require education to be nominated and accepted before it starts, or specify content and format. Check the requirement and take advice before you enrol.

Why does the finder suggest a profession course?

Your Board's own code and standards are the reference point for your conduct, so a course written for your profession is usually a sensible core.

Can I take a course that was not suggested?

Yes. The finder is a guide. Every course is open to any registered practitioner.

Are the courses accepted as CPD?

Each practitioner decides how a course fits their CPD plan under their Board's standard and records the time actually spent. The courses are not accredited and not approved by Ahpra or any National Board.

What if my concern is not listed?

Choose the closest option or browse by concern. The shared courses on ethics, professionalism and reflection apply to most situations.
